The boys in our troop do all of their own cooking. Depending on the outing they will either cook as buddies, as patrols or as a troop. They practice and use a wide variety cooking methods.
We have several cookbooks that we use in planing our meals including our own cookbook. The boys in the troop can use a form add meals to the cookbook. We have a chuckbox inventory sheet that we use to make sure that the patrol chuckboxes are stocked.
